How the disco ball effect works

When light hits a mirror tile, it bounces off in many directions. Hundreds of tiles turn every beam into moving spots — on the dance floor, on the walls and on the crowd. In daylight the effect is soft; under club and stage lights it is bright and dramatic.

Build your look. Start with a mirror bodysuit or catsuit, then add a disco ball mask, gloves, a mirror jacket or high mirror overshoes.

Colours. Gold and silver, plus blue, green, pink and red mirror.

Easy care. Wipe with a soft cloth; a repair kit comes with every costume.

Frequently asked questions

What makes the disco ball effect?
Hundreds of small mirror tiles break each light beam into moving spots. The more tiles, the stronger the effect, especially under stage lights.
Can I buy just a mask or a jacket?
Yes. Masks, jackets, gloves and overshoes are sold separately, so you can build your own look.
Is a disco ball costume heavy?
Usually about 2 kg, depending on the materials: acrylic mirror is much lighter than glass, and the base is stretch fabric.
What colours are available?
Silver and gold are the most popular; we also make blue, green, pink and red mirror.
What if I lose a tile?
A repair kit comes with the costume, so you can glue a tile back yourself.
